Quick answers about prices, buying, selling, shipping and protection on Cardmine.
Reviews help buyers understand what it is like to order from a seller on Cardmine.
Only buyers who completed an order through Cardmine can leave a review for that seller. Reviews can be added after an order is completed or marked as received, so the buyer can rate the actual order experience.
A review can include a star rating and an optional written comment. The rating should reflect the overall experience, including whether the cards matched the listing, whether the condition was accurate, whether the order was packed safely and whether the seller shipped on time.
The "Verified purchase" label means the review is connected to a completed Cardmine marketplace order. It helps separate real order feedback from general opinions.
Reviews should be clear, fair and useful to other collectors. They should not include private contact details, payment details, threats, insults or claims unrelated to the order.
Each card shows the latest market price snapshot, built from real marketplace data and shown in the currency for your region. Raw market prices and graded prices are tracked separately.
Most prices refresh daily, and individual cards can update more often when there is fresh sales activity. Card and set pages are rebuilt whenever a new price snapshot is processed.
Collection value follows the latest available market snapshots for cards in your inventory. It can change when prices update, when you add or remove cards, or when a card has no current price available.
Open a card, add the listing you want to your cart, and check out securely. You pay through Cardmine and every order is covered by Buyer Protection.
Yes. On many listings you can make an offer below the listed price, and the seller can accept or decline it.
A small buyer service fee is added at checkout. It is charged per seller order, not per card, and the exact amount is always shown before you pay.
Yes. If you have a balance — for example from a refund or from a sale — you can put it toward an order at checkout. Your balance lives in the Wallet tab of your profile.
Buyer Protection is included on every order. It covers seller non-shipment, cancellations before shipping, a wrong, fake, missing or materially miscondition card, and lost tracked shipments.
Buyer Protection can help with seller non-shipment, cancelled orders before fulfilment, wrong cards, missing cards, fake cards, materially different condition, and tracked shipment problems that can be reviewed through carrier events.
No. Cardmine Letter Mail is untracked and postal loss is excluded. The seller must mark the letter posted only after handing it to the postal service, but there are no carrier scans for Cardmine to verify postal loss.
A professional seller has marked the account as a trader or business seller and can provide business disclosure details such as business name and customer service contact. It does not change Buyer Protection by itself.
List a card from your collection: set its condition and price and publish it to the marketplace. You can manage listings from the Listings tab in your profile.
Your listed price is added to your Cardmine wallet as sale credit. It is held until the buyer confirms delivery, or it auto-releases after the carrier delivers (Letter Mail has a longer window). You then pay out your available balance from your wallet.
No. Cardmine has 0% seller fees on the card sale price. Buyers pay Buyer Protection at checkout, and sellers keep 100% of the card sale price before any refund, dispute or shipping-specific adjustment.
You can create listings, but checkout and approved payouts depend on seller setup. Open Wallet and finish Stripe verification so payouts can become active.
Tax, VAT, invoicing, collection and remittance responsibilities can differ by seller, buyer location, fee type and transaction. Checkout shows recorded amounts, while each party remains responsible for the obligations that apply to them. The platform tax allocation policy remains subject to external review.
Tracked shipping has carrier scans and the strongest protection, and is required from EUR 15, for graded cards and larger orders. Cardmine Letter Mail is a cheaper untracked option for eligible low-value raw singles, with no postal-loss coverage.
Paid orders get a seller ship-by deadline. If the seller does not create the required tracked shipping progress or mark eligible Letter Mail as posted in time, Cardmine can automatically refund the buyer and keep the seller payout blocked.
No. Untracked Letter Mail has no postal-loss coverage, because a loss cannot be verified by carrier events. For anything valuable, choose tracked shipping.
Use the protection stack: penny sleeve, toploader, team bag taped with painter''s tape, a cardboard sandwich, and a rigid or bubble mailer. Graded slabs go in a small box.
Tracked shipping is required for seller orders from EUR 15, graded cards, larger raw-card counts and routes where Letter Mail is not available. Orders from EUR 100 should use tracked and insured shipping where available.
Letter Mail can be available for eligible low-value raw-card orders when a source-backed postal rate exists. Domestic Letter Mail is limited to 10 raw cards and an item subtotal below EUR 15. Cross-border Letter Mail is limited to 3 raw cards and an item subtotal below EUR 15.
Report it from the order in My orders instead of confirming receipt, and add photos of the packaging and the card. Cardmine can then review the case.
Buyer Protection, dispute review and refunds only apply to orders paid, shipped and messaged through Cardmine. The moment a deal moves off-platform, that protection no longer applies.
