What happens when an order is late, lost, or never shipped.
Most orders arrive on time. When one does not, what happens next depends on how it was shipped.
If the without a dispatch (no carrier scan, and no Letter Mail marked as posted), you are . You do not need to chase it — the protection is built in.
For tracked orders, first allow the carrier's delivery estimate to pass. Carriers sometimes scan late or hold parcels briefly. If the estimate has passed and tracking has not updated, you can report the issue from the order.
If tracking shows the shipment is lost or cannot be delivered, it is covered. Report it from the order and Cardmine can review the carrier events to resolve it.
Letter Mail has no postal-loss coverage, because an untracked letter cannot be verified by carrier events. Give it extra time first — untracked mail can simply be slow. For anything valuable, choose tracked shipping next time so the delivery is protected. See Buyer Protection for the full coverage rules.
